Dear Neighbors,

It has been an exciting month at Celebration Foundation living our mission of building community through arts, culture, and education that was set into motion more than a quarter of a century ago by our esteemed founder, The Walt Disney Company.

In August, we had the opportunity to welcome back teachers and staff at Celebration K8 School and Creation Village World School with breakfast and lunch goodies and treated the “Sound of the Storm” marching band to dinner during band camp because music matters.

Our member programs: Thriving In Place and Celebration Lifelong, powered and serviced by our dedicated volunteers are in full swing as they return in-person. We invite you get involved by becoming a participant or a volunteer or both! This Fall you can take a Celebration Lifelong course or hear a lecture taught by our volunteer instructors. Join Thriving In Place or spread the news to neighbors that would benefit from our program or who would like to offer their time to volunteer.

Our “Stuff the Bus” school supply drive was a success because of YOU. Thank you to all our friends and neighbors for dropping school supplies to our office and tent at Food Truck Friday to help students in need this school year. Also, pallets of food were delivered to some of the 17 schools in Osceola County School District that are part of Learning Without Hunger Program. Students that receive free breakfast and lunch at school receive weekend meal packs to have food when school is closed. This program would not be possible without YOUR support, AdventHealth Celebration and Osceola County Board of Commissioners. These students are OUR future!

The 2022 – 2023 Celebration Concert Series planning concluded, and we are pleased to make sponsorships and season tickets available for sale on our website or by dropping by our office. Our season will consist of five concerts beginning in December with the Central Florida Brass Band to kick-off the holiday season.

And be sure to mark your calendars for October 1st, when tickets go on sale for the highly anticipated Holiday Home Tour & Winter Wonderland with The Market Place plus Winter Wonderland VIP Reception. This event occurs the first weekend in December when sparkle & glitter make our town shine!

This is community. This is the Celebration Foundation at work. Connect with your community and the Celebration Foundation this year. Read our articles, visit our website at www.celebrationfoundation.org, subscribe to our email list or “LIKE” us on Facebook. Let’s fall in love with our community, in some way, everyday!

Warm regards,
