The Celebration Foundation office is located at 610 Sycamore Street Unit #110 in the Seminole building. Celebration Foundation’s Thriving in Place program’s “home” is located at 690 Celebration Avenue formerly known as Town Hall. Celebration Foundation’s Lifelong program classroom setting is in Town Hall located at 851 Celebration Avenue. Those are the buildings that most Celebration residents identify with the Celebration Foundation. The Foundation team may be working under different roofs or working remotely to continue our programming, yet this staff stays connected through virtual programming, virtual meetings and communication.

Meet the Foundation Team

Kathleen Sipio joined the Celebration Foundation team as Executive Director in October 2019. Her role is to lead all community stakeholders toward building a better community in arts, culture and education. Every day. Working with the Foundation team, Board & Advisory Council, program committees, community partners, volunteers, supporters and members is rewarding and different every day. No day looks the same. Kathleen is often heard saying, “This is my dream job to live and work in my community and make a difference every day. It is all the like-hearted people that work together and make it happen that makes our town so unique. The Foundation team and family strive to change our community landscape and I am proud to be a part of our group.”

As a member of the Celebration Foundation team for seven years, Beverly “B” Alksninis is the Celebration Lifelong Coordinator. She is the school principal, registrar, office secretary, and now technology specialist all in one! B has a passion for learning and enjoys providing an outlet for adults to access enriching educational programs to continue their learning experience. B works side-by-side with volunteers who continue to elevate the quality of Lifelong Lectures and Lifelong Clubs. B feels very fortunate to hold this position as she says “I enjoy seeing the passion people have for education and watching others share their vast areas of expertise. I also love interacting with our Lifelong members, it brings me joy every time I see them!”

Becky Varley has been a part of the Celebration Foundation team for four years. Her position as Volunteer Coordinator is a vital to our community as she organizes volunteers for all events and activities throughout the year. Becky also spends time assisting with the Foundation’s Thriving In Place program where she helps with their activities in any way she can. Becky’s position brings her so much joy as she says, “I love meeting, interacting and enjoying fun with all the members and volunteers. Everyone feels like a family member, I love having so many friends!”

Breanne O’Leary is approaching her two-year work anniversary with the Celebration Foundation.  She holds the position of Development Associate as Grants & Programs Coordinator. Breanne is tasked with identifying, securing, and managing grant funding for all Foundation programs. In addition, Breanne also manages several of our programs. She manages our Concert Series, as well as our WINGS (Women’s Initiative Nurturing Girls’ Strength) and SAS (Serious About Science) programs in partnership with Celebration K-8 School. Breanne manages our scholarships program by assisting in the decision-making process for annual scholarship recipients. To Breanne, being a part of the Celebration Foundation is very rewarding as she says, “I love getting to work in the community and see the effects our programs are having firsthand!”

At her first-year work anniversary with the Celebration Foundation, Jill Couch is the Thriving in Place Manager and Celebration Foundation Office Administrator. She leads all Thriving in Place program activities and events. Jill assists Thriving Members with any questions, concerns, or needs they may have to stay connected to their community.  Jill also handles the office administration for the foundation. To Jill, the Celebration Foundation holds a special place in her heart as she says “My favorite part about my job is developing personal relationships with our members, volunteers and staff. I love getting to know the people of Celebration, learn about the history of the town from them, and witness the friendships that have lasted as long as Celebration has existed!”
