The Celebration Foundation Concert Series presents the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra on Saturday, March 7th. Additionally, on Saturday, March 28th, the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Entertainer of the Year, Balsam Range, comes to Celebration.
For 18 consecutive years, Orlando’s premier professional orchestra has performed in Celebration. This year, they will feature two wonderful pieces composed by Mozart—his joyous Concerto for Clarinet, and the fiery Symphony #25 rumored to have been written by the 17-year old Mozart in just two days.
North Carolina’s Balsam Range has become one of the most award-winning bluegrass ensembles. They have won 13 IBMA awards on the heels of nine critically acclaimed albums. Writing about their most recent album, the Wall Street Journal says, “The eclectic group from North Carolina proves it could leap to great popularity with an album that blends deep musical traditions with modern touches.” The Celebration Foundation thanks Mr. William Kelly and Mrs. Deborah Kelly for their sponsorship of this concert.
General admission tickets are available to these concerts. They are $30 each and are available online at celebrationfoundation.org/events, by phone at 407-566-1234, or by going to the Celebration Foundation office at 610 Sycamore Street, Suite 110.
The Celebration Foundation Concert Series’ goal is to bring world-class classical and traditional music to Celebration and Osceola County. Support from our generous individual sponsors, Rotary Club, Experience Kissimmee, United Arts, and Duke Energy has allowed us to bring these high-quality music organizations to Celebration. Thank you for your continued support.
