Celebration Lifelong Volunteer Roles
Are you interested in volunteering for Celebration Lifelong? If so, below are descriptions of our volunteer opportunities.
Welcome Desk
- Greet class members
- Provide nametags to our members and instructors
- Set up and replenish coffee corner (if applicable)
- Instructor and Lecturer support
- Main point of contact for assistance during session times
Technical Support for Classes and Speaker Series
(Note that training and detailed written instructions are provided for all functions however a basic understanding of computers is required)
- Set up/breakdown of audio-visual equipment including
- TV
- Microphones and microphones
- Speaker
- Receiver
- Setting up the Celebration Lifelong laptop
- Helping instructor with displaying their presentation correctly if in Keynote (Apple) or PowerPoint (PC)
- Test sound levels for presentation and microphones
All of our classes are held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during a 12-week timeframe in the Spring and the Fall
Our class times are below, and our volunteer timeframes are similar:
- 10:30 – 11:45 am
- 12:00 noon – 1:15 pm
- 1:30 – 2:45 pm
- 3:00 – 4:15 pm (Speaker Series on Tuesdays)
