With sleigh bells jingling and candy canes jangling, a group of merry fifth graders from WINGS at Celebration School sang their way to Town Hall on December 7th to share lunch and holiday cheer with Thriving in Place members. Seniors and students took turns sharing their favorite holiday memories and traditions. Candy canes and cake were shared, and the whole group enjoyed a rousing sing-a-long of holiday favorites.
WINGS – Women’s Initiative Nurturing Girls’ Strength – and Thriving in Place are two dynamic Celebration Foundation programs that are enriching the lives of hundreds of Celebration students and residents, from ages 10 to 100. When they come together, the benefits for both are real and remarkable.
